Me and This Blog

Who am I?

Hello there! My real name is Jeanne Pauline, from the Pearl of the Orient Seas, a.k.a. the Philippines. I’m still a student, and I’m studying BS in Architecture at Technological University of the Philippines Manila.

There are a lot of things that I love to do. Some of them are dancing, singing (but not that great, huh..), listening to music, performing, drawing, reading, and of course, writing. ❤

As stated, writing is one of my passion, and since I want to share my works with the world, I made this blog…

Why “When My Heart Speaks” ?

I chose “When My Heart Speaks” to be the title of this site because my main purpose is to voice out what my heart really feels through writing.

This site contains my poems, my devotionals, my letter/s and some other compositions.

Also, I have here some excerpts from the books I love to read, lyrics from the songs I love to listen to, and some random thoughts…

Why “sparkling pink tiara” ?

About the username, actually, there’s a story why I came up with such name. It’s a little bit embarrassing for me to share, but I’ll share it anyway. 😂

I have a cousin whom I love to talk to about our crushes. And since I don’t want to broadcast them to the people around us (about the real names of you know..), she suggested that instead of speaking of our crushes’ real names during our conversations, we’ll give them code names.

Her code names for her crushes are about art materials, (example, pencil, watercolor, and etc.). Mine are about jewelries, (example, earrings, bracelet, necklace, etc.). I know we’re weird. Yeah. Haha!

So we’re there.. about the code names.. Mine are about jewelries, and so, while creating this site way back December 2014, (since I have jewelry code names) I decided to get an inspiration there. So I came up with “sparklingpinktiara”.  Obviously, I love pink and sparkling things… and and tiaras! ❤

Message for your fellow writers (and readers)…

“A writer is a writer not because she writes well and easily, because she has amazing talent, or because everything she does is golden. A writer is a writer because, even when there’s no hope, even when nothing you do shows any sign of promise, you keep writing anyway.” ~Junot Diaz, Professor of Writing, Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, 2008.

Write to inspire. Letting your readers relate to you is one thing, but inspiring them and giving impact to their lives is another thing. 😊

Happy writing!

  1. Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift. Best Coffee Maker

  4. There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
